Antique Victorian Novelty Thistle Topped Monogrammed Wax Brass Seal

This is an antique English brass wax stamp or letter seal with a thistle finial.
It is used for sealing letters or invitations.
It was made by J W & Co, Ltd. and is marked "British" instead of "Made In England".
This piece dates back to 1900-1920.

It measures about 6.7cm x 1.8cm diameter on the base

It is in good condition for its age, but shows wear from use and looks like antique patina
It will need a good cleaning. It comes in the original conditions as found.
