Scarce Antique Brass Vesta Case Match Safe Holder Striker

This is an antique brass vesta case match holder from the Victorian era.
It is set on a large stone like Jade, but I am unsure what the stone is.
It opens and closes beautifully with a beautiful design.
It is made of brass and is in excellent condition.

It measures approx. 4cm H x 3cm W x 1.5cm D.
